“Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake.” - Henry David Thoreau Storybooks were my way to travel as a child. I could go anywhere and meet new and interesting characters with the turning of each page. The far away places held secrets of mystery and excitement. Travel and books both take us on a journey. We move through them one step and one page at a time eventually coming to the end but never forgetting how it changed us. “Entrance to a Dream” is a collage piece I created from one of my adventures at Tollymore Forest Park in Northern Ireland; a magical, storybook moment in dreams awake forever etched in my heart.
